On occasion we may ask for limited sensitive information (e.g., health or accessibility needs) to support event participation or to communicate appropriately. Supplying sensitive information is voluntary and will be used only for the purpose you agreed to and kept confidential.

Children

  • To communicate with you. To send confirmations, receipts, newsletters, donor updates, campaign information, event notices, or other communications you have opted into. (With your consent or for our legitimate interests.)

Where required by law or where we rely on consent, we will obtain your permission before processing your personal data for specific uses (e.g., marketing). Where processing is based on legitimate interest (e.g., fraud prevention, direct communications about our programs), we will balance those interests against your rights.

4. Payment processing & security

Third-party processors. Online donations and payments are processed by third-party payment processors selected by Resurge. These providers (for example, card processors, UPI/Netbanking gateways, wallets) collect and process payment credentials. Resurge does not store full payment card numbers or CVV codes on its servers unless tokenized by a compliant provider.

Security standards. We require payment processors to comply with industry security standards such as PCI-DSS and use TLS/HTTPS for Site pages that collect payment or personal information.

Transaction metadata. Resurge may retain transaction metadata (date, amount, donor name, receipt number) for accounting and donor acknowledgment.

Fees and currency. Transaction fees, currency conversion charges, or bank fees may apply and may be deducted by processors; donors may be offered an option to cover processing fees where available.
